About Me

Hi! I'm Kanthi Sattiraju, a first-year student at Cornell University and the founder of ENVIORG! I am passionate about engaging in environmental work in and outside of school; I am specifically passionate about spreading awareness and providing the educational resources needed for people to live more sustainably.
Through ENVIORG, I have the opportunity to inspire and motivate K-12 students by providing environmental education on global level. My focus is on the conceptual understanding of specific scientific initiatives around climate change, sustainability, and renewable energy. Through my work, I hope to inspire my students to confidently establish initiatives and engage tactically and strategically while working on their own environmental projects in their community.
Additionally, students, parents, teachers, and other community members get the opportunity to watch the educational lessons that we organize and plan. These lessons also give the students an opportunity to interact with professionals in the environmental field and learn about various initiatives!

My passion for making a change through providing environmental education has pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to grow into the individual I am today. I hope to inspire this among the students that I get to teach!
